How do I book an appointment at StarThink Clinic? +
You can book an appointment through our online booking form, by calling us at +603-2715 8800, or by sending a WhatsApp message. We will confirm your appointment within 2 hours during operating hours.
What are your operating hours? +
We are open Monday to Saturday: 8:30am – 9:00pm and Sunday & Public Holidays: 9:00am – 2:00pm. Evening clinics run from 5:00pm – 9:00pm on weekdays.
Can I walk in without an appointment? +
Yes, walk-in patients are welcome for general consultations, subject to doctor availability. However, we strongly recommend booking in advance for specialist consultations to avoid long waiting times.
How do I cancel or reschedule my appointment? +
Please inform us at least 24 hours in advance. You can call us at +603-2715 8800 or WhatsApp us to reschedule. This allows us to offer your slot to another patient.

Which insurance panels do you accept? +
We accept most major insurance panels in Malaysia including AIA, Prudential, Great Eastern, Allianz, Tokio Marine, ING, Etiqa and others. Please contact us with your insurance card details to confirm coverage before your visit.
What payment methods do you accept? +
We accept cash (Malaysian Ringgit), credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard), Touch 'n Go eWallet, DuitNow QR, and online bank transfers. Payment is due at the time of service.
Do you offer corporate health plans? +
Yes. We offer customised corporate wellness packages for companies, including health screening programmes, occupational health services and on-site clinic support. Please contact us at corporate@starthinkclinic.com.my for more information.
🩺 Services & Treatments
Do I need a referral to see a specialist? +
No referral is needed. You can book directly with any of our specialists. However, if you are using insurance, please check with your insurer whether a referral letter is required for your coverage.
How long does a typical consultation take? +
A general consultation typically takes 15–30 minutes. Specialist consultations may take 30–60 minutes depending on the complexity of your case. Health screening packages can take 2–4 hours including laboratory processing.
Do you provide sick leave (MC) and medical certificates? +
Yes. Our registered doctors can issue Medical Certificates (MC) and other required documentation after a consultation. MC cannot be issued without a prior clinical assessment.
🚨 Emergency & Urgent Care
Do you handle medical emergencies? +
We can handle minor to moderate medical emergencies. For life-threatening emergencies (chest pain, stroke, severe trauma, difficulty breathing), please call 999 or proceed directly to the nearest hospital emergency department. Do not drive yourself.
What should I bring for my first visit? +
Please bring your MyKad or passport, your insurance card (if applicable), a list of current medications, and any relevant previous medical reports or investigation results. Arriving 15 minutes early helps with registration.

How do you protect my personal and medical data? +
Your data is protected under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). All medical records are stored securely and encrypted. We do not share your information with any third parties without your written consent, except as required by law.
Can I request a copy of my medical records? +
Yes. You have the right to access your medical records. Please submit a written request in person at our reception or email records@starthinkclinic.com.my. Processing takes 5–7 business days and a nominal administrative fee may apply.
